Urbandale, IA: As a result of business growth, Nancy Crimmins MSPT, CLT was recently promoted to Vice President of Outpatient Therapy, and, Christen Bliss MOTR/L was recently promoted to Vice President of Clinical Services. Blue Stone Therapy, the Urbandale, Iowa, based contract rehabilitation services provider, employs nearly 700 therapists and provides therapy services to Long-Term Care Communities in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
As Vice President of Clinical Services, Christen is responsible for oversight and management of the organization’s clinical services for Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted and Independent Living Communities, and Outpatient Therapy Clinics. She will lead the clinical services team that focuses on implementing high-quality clinical programming to ensure maximum patient success, industry-leading outcomes, and superior client support. Christen has more than 20 years of experience in a variety of settings including acute, home health, and geriatric long-term care. Prior to this promotion Christen served as a Director of Clinical Services with Blue Stone. Christen earned her Master’s in Occupational Therapy at St. Ambrose University.
As Vice President of Outpatient Therapy, Nancy is responsible for Blue Stone Therapy’s new line of growing business in Outpatient Therapy. Nancy brings more than 25 years of experience specializing in physical therapy and she is passionate about working with the geriatric population and partnering with new clients. Prior to this promotion, Nancy served as a Regional Director of Operations and Vice President of Clinical Services. Nancy earned her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences at Des Moines University.
