Blue Stone Therapy Selects Director of Clinical Services
West Des Moines, IA: Blue Stone Therapy Solutions recently selected Tracie Tonniges as Director of Clinical Services. As Director of Clinical Services, Tonniges will be responsible for development of clinical programming, on-site monitoring, audit management, and regulatory compliance.
Tracie received her Bachelor’s degrees in both Psychology and Biology from Augustana College in 1997. She continued her educational pursuits by attending Washington University’s Program in Occupational Therapy receiving her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy with Highest Honors in 1999. She has practiced occupational therapy in a variety of settings including acute neurologic and orthopedic rehabilitation, outpatient neurological and orthopedic care, home health and hospice care, pediatric outpatient, in-home and school based care, and geriatric long term care. While her experiences have been varied and diverse, her passion lies in restoring and maintaining health and wellness in the older adult. Tracie was most recently employed as a Clinical Program Consultant for Accelerated Care Plus (ACP). During this time, she obtained certifications in both lymphedema management and tai chi for rehabilitation.
