ABOUT TRACIE TONNIGES:
Tracie received Bachelor’s degrees in both Psychology and Biology from Augustana College in 1997 and continued her educational pursuits by attending Washington University’s Program in Occupational Therapy, receiving her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 1999. She has practiced occupational therapy in a variety of settings including acute neurologic and orthopedic rehabilitation, outpatient neurologic and orthopedic care, home health and hospice care, pediatric outpatient, in-home and school-based care, and geriatric long-term care. While her experiences have been varied and diverse, her passion lies in restoring and maintaining health and wellness in the older adult. Tracie was previously employed as a Clinical Program Consultant for Accelerated Care Plus (ACP). During this time, she obtained certifications in both lymphedema management and tai chi for rehabilitation. She continues her mentorship endeavors as the Director of Clinical Services for Blue Stone Therapy Solutions in Des Moines, Iowa.
